• Chris Heinig
A biologist by training, Chris has enjoyed 32 years experience in research and the management of marine resources. Founder of Intertide Corporation (Maine, USA), he has worked for 22 years on the optimization of aquaculture products and the evaluation of their environmental impact. President of the MER Corporation (Marine Environmental Resources), Chris is an aquaculture expert and has a wide range of international contacts in this field.
• Claude Bensoussan
Claude Bensoussan obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacochemistry (on the involvement of P450s 3A in the metabolism of amine drugs) from the University of Paris V. In 1987, he joined Rhône-Poulenc Santé’s Vitry Research Centre as a toxicology researcher. He subsequently specialized in biotechnology and was appointed Director of the Biotransformation Group at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer in 1996. In 2000, he joined Rhodia as Director of the Biocatalysis Department as well as Biotech Project Director at the company’s Research Centre in Lyon. In 2005, he created BioAdvice®, an operational consultancy firm in the field of bioprocess and bioproduct development.
• Philippe Tramoy
Philippe Tramoy gained degrees in Biochemistry (MSc) and Genetics & Immunology (MSc) from the University of Burgundy and from the Ecole Normale Supérieure and later graduated from the IAE Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne (Master of Finance) and HEC Paris (Master in Marketing). Philippe’s responsibilities were wide-ranging and included, Project Manager, thereafter Business Development Manager in Europe and Israel within the biotechnology market at Rhodia Corporate, Rhodia Chirex, and Rhodia Pharma Solutions.
During his professional career Philippe has developed an excellent network of contacts, including biotechnology companies, industrialists and investors. Philippe’s core competencies include business development, strategy, finance and marketing. Seven years ago, Philippe founded and has since devoted his expertise in CBDMT®, a Market & Business Intelligence company dedicated to “turning innovation into a sustainable business”.
• Jean-Paul Moisan
Professor of Medicine, former head of the genetics department at Nantes CHU, Jean-Paul founded the Institut Génétique Nantes Atlantique (IGNA) (Nantes Atlantic Genetics Institute) in 2003, of which he is President. He is one of the promoters of the Nantes Biotechnology Cluster and is widely recognised as highly experienced in Biotechnology Company development strategies.
